The short version
Seat & Spray is reader-supported. When you buy through a link on this site, we may earn a commission from the seller. It never costs you extra, and it never changes a score.
How the money works
Many of the product links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the merchant pays us a small percentage of the sale price. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not.
Seat & Spray is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We also work, or may work, with other retailers and affiliate networks on the same basic terms; when a comparison links somewhere other than Amazon, the same rules apply.
What commissions can’t do
- They can’t change a score. Scores are set from evidence first — see how we rate — and affiliate terms are only checked afterward.
- They can’t buy placement. A product appears in a comparison because it belongs there.
- They can’t hide a flaw. Recurring owner complaints get reported whether the product pays 3% or 12%.
Prices on this site
Prices in comparisons are checked against current sources on the day the page is written or updated, and every comparison prints its prices-checked date. Prices move — sometimes the same day — so treat ours as a verified snapshot, and the price at the store as the final word.
